You're about to hear a pretty pawsome story!
My name is Zasha Maria, and my hubby is Gareth Bocarro. We are the owners of 2 loving dogs, Suki and Cody.
We met in the most unusual way! It is a story of love and triumph and probably a real-life '101 Dalmatians' story.
This is the short version of how my hubby and I met, and it's all thanks to our dogs, Suki girl and Cody boy.
All the way back in 2012, my vet at that time told me I desperately had to spay my Suki girl (the cutest Cocker Spaniel ALIVE!).
He recommended that I try to mate her at least once before the operation , just so that Suki would get a chance to enjoy motherhood.
I frantically searched for another Cocker just like her for a whole year, constantly postponing her surgery because I really wanted her to make me a grandmama!
I narrowed it down to a couple of good potential mates, but somehow, meeting up just never happened.
My boyfriend at that time knew a couple of pet owners and tried his very best to help me find a good suitable mate for my Suki girl.
One of his contacts happened to be Gareth Bocarro. The owner of a gorgeous male Cocker (almost an exact lookalike to Suki)
I contacted Gareth via email in early December 2012, and we finally got a chance to meet on 26th January 2013!
I had never met or seen Gareth before, just some random pictures of his dog, Cody, and all of Cody's medical records. We decided to meet at his building in Bandra on a beautiful, bright and sunny Saturday afternoon.
I spotted Gareth a ways off and couldn't believe my eyes, Cody and Suki were almost identical. Not just in look but personality! It was uncanny.
When I got to meet Gareth personally and not just phone conversations, I was completely taken aback with this drop-dead gorgeous guy with big bright eyes and a smile that made my knees weak!
Gareth and I hit it off almost instantly. Talking on the phone, whatsapping, dinner dates, video calls.... all the stuff needed to lead us up to marriage! All because we both needed to mate our dogs!
Finally, on 17th October 2015, we got married! And have been living in bliss ever since.
A couple of months ago, we both decided to pursue our passions. We realized after the 2020 scare, that life is fragile and sometimes we need to dive off the deep end and persue our passions. We had to just 'go for it' and do something we both love.
As a dedication to the pets that brought us together, we introduce you to our Love Project - Pawfectionist.inc.
A home away from home for your beloved pet.
We started Pawfectionist.inc with the sole intention to give back to the pet community what they gave us... unconditional love and cuddles.
We want to pamper your pet.
